YAM Tailgate Party Sept 25

Struggling to find a community?  Looking for real conversations and deep friendships?  Longing for an open and accepting church family in your age group where you can be yourself, rough edges and all?

Well, so are we! Young Adult Ministry (YAM) is a new church community at St. John Lutheran Church made up of people roughly between the ages of 23-40, and we're throwing a parking lot Tailgate Party at St. John on Saturday, September 25th from 12pm to 3pm!   Anyone within those age ranges are welcome to attend!  

Sign-up not required, but it will help with food and/or childcare planning!

Food and childcare will be provided, but please bring your own beverages!  Burgers, hot dogs, and vegan/vegetarian equivalents will be available for our main dish.  We will play yard games, get to know each other over food/drinks, and hear a little bit about YAM’s future plans.  It will be a fun, informal time to get to know people your age at St. John.  Please bring a lawn chair and feel free to invite your friends!

No matter where you are in life: parent or single, homeowner or living in the basement, active at church or leaning toward agnostic... all backgrounds, identities, beliefs and disbeliefs, there’s a place for you here!  Join us as we navigate our 20s and 30s together, and rediscover who we are, what we want, and who we want to be in the world.
