This is Christ's Church.

There is a place for you here!

Join our virtual faith community to hear words of comfort, healing and hope.

During the COVID-19 crisis we are working to keep you connected with pastors and each other.  New online worship video posted here at 9am every Sunday.  You can also view it on Sundays with our online community through a watch party

on Facebook at 10:00 a.m.

Currently, in-person worship and in-person ministry work are suspended.  The church office is open by appointment, please call 815.439.2320.

The Food Pantry remains open with a modified schedule

and seeks healthy volunteers to serve.

Hunger does not discriminate and neither do we!  St. John Lutheran Church Food Pantry serves 300+  hungry neighbors every week.  We welcome all hungry people from any Illinois county, school district or zip code.  On the very first day of the governor's Stay-at-Home order, we became a drive thru pantry and have continued to welcome and serve hundreds of families in crisis.

100% of all donations go directly to the pantry.  St. John does not fund the pantry or purchase food, it is run on donations.  If you are able to donate, above and beyond your usual church offering, we will be able to continue purchasing and distributing our hungry neighbors.
