"We honestly believe that a person

would not

come to

a food pantry

unless they

really needed it"

Hunger does not discriminate and neither do we!  St. John Lutheran Church Food Pantry serves 300+  hungry neighbors every week.  We welcome all hungry people from any Illinois county, school district or zip code.  On the very first day of the governor's Stay-at-Home order, we became a drive thru pantry and have continued to welcome and serve hundreds of families in crisis.

100% of all donations go directly to the pantry.  St. John does not fund the pantry or purchase food, it is run on donations.  If you are able to donate, above and beyond your usual church offering, we will be able to continue purchasing and distributing our hungry neighbors.
